Dr. Andrew Kalafatas

Andrew was born and raised in Perth and graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree in 1987 and was awarded the prize of top student in his year and also the best clinician in his year. He completed his Post Graduate studies achieving a Master of Dental Science degree in Orthodontics more than 20 years ago and has worked in private orthodontic practice in Perth since that time.

Andrew is a founding fellow of the Western Australian Dental Foundation and has had an appointment at the University of Western Australia as a clinical tutor since graduation. He is a specialist member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and has been a member of the Executive committee on several occasions and is also a member of the Australian Dental Association. He regularly attends local, national and international orthodontic conferences to keep abreast of the latest techniques and procedures so that they can be implemented into our practice to assure the best possible care for our patients.

Away from orthodontics, Andrew is the proud father of three boys, including twins, which keep both he and his wife extremely busy. He is an avid sports fan and keen member of the West Coast Eagles.

Andrew’s training, vast experience and pursuit for excellence allows him to gain the best results for his patients.
