Dr. Mike Razza

After completing his undergraduate studies at Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas, USA, Associate Professor, Mike Razza earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas, USA. Dr Razza later went on to receive his Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, USA and has been teaching at the University of Western Australia in the profession for 31 years to both Orthodontic and Graduate students. Dr Razza has been in the private practice for over 25 years.

Associate Professor Razza is an active member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO) where he has served as President of the Australian Society of Orthodontists Western Australian Branch and Federal President of the Australian Society of Orthodontists. Dr Razza is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Asian Pacific Society of Orthodontists, the North Atlantic Component of the Angle Society of Orthodontists, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and the Australian Dental Association. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and a member of Delta Sigma Delta. He is also a frequent lecturer in his profession within Australia and overseas.

Dr Razza has been awarded two of the highest honours of the Orthodontic profession within Australia; the Australian Society of Orthodontists, Distinguished Service Award in 2015 and Honorary Life Membership for his contributions to the ASO and Orthodontic education in Australia and internationally. 

Mike and his wife, Jacqueline, have four daughters, Rachel, Ruth, Laura and Victoria. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
