The only charges that may be raised over the course of treatment would relate to lost appliances such as a lost retainer but these fees are minimised because we have our own in-house laboratory. In some patients, an initial simple course of treatment is performed and the outcome reviewed and a further course of treatment considered if necessary. The orthodontist will obviously have discussed this with you in such circumstance.
