Most growing children will experience maturational changes in their lips and nose that make the lips look flatter with age. The chin may also move forward in the face in some patients whilst others remain in the current position- this is the wonderful thing about genetics. These are normal changes and attempt to achieve the best balance of tooth position and lip support.
